D.B.M.S English School hosted the 33rd Inter School Seuli Seal Memorial Quiz Contest on 18th January, 2024. This Quiz is held every year in the loving memory of Seuli, a student of our School, whom we tragically lost on 3rd March 1989.
The Quiz master for the day was Mr. VINAY MUDALIAR who is renowned for hosting Television Quiz shows and founding one of India’s Premier Quiz venture Mindcogs. This Quiz was for the students of Std V, VI & VII. Around 18 schools participated in the Preliminary round where their knowledge was tested over a wide spectrum. Six teams qualified for the finals. They were:
- D.B.M.S English School
- Hill Top School
- Little Flower School
- Rajendra Vidyalaya
- ADLS Sunshine School
- Loyola School
The Quiz comprised 5 rounds. The children were quizzed on a wide array of subjects, wherein they had to exercise their wits to battle it out for the top spot. It was truly an infotainment Quiz, which was enjoyed by both the participants and the audience. The Quiz was witnessed by the member of the School Management Committee, Principal Mrs. Rajani Shekhar, Vice-Principal Mr. P.K. Sahu without whose able guidance and encouragement, this Quiz would not have been possible.
- D.B.M.S English School emerged as the winner in a closely fought contest, with 50 points.
- The Second place was bagged by ADLS Sunshine School, with 40 points.
- In the third place was Hill Top School, with 35 points.
